DMD - T865(X) / T880X Off-Road Holder

This is a nice piece. It’s made of aluminum and does a great job of holding the tablet tight when the going gets tough. It uses the standard amps mount. A could notes: the lock on the side is now a lot easier to get to behind a rade faring. Also of note, this does not use push pins for power, you hook it with the factory cable (an extra is included if you lost your other one. Also of note, the sun shade will not work with this mount without modification. If you ride in the rough, this is a nice addition and , as always, Adv-Tim is the best place to get it!

This does add a bit of weight to your mounting system, but it also adds some vibration damping that I think is worth the weight. I was going to buy another of the original mount to put in my truck and when this became available decided to try it out. This off-road holder went on the bike and the original now stays in the 4WD.

I recently damaged my original mount for my T865 tablet while riding the Oregon BDR. I order the new Off Road Tablet holder and it is much more robust with some added vibration dampening. This is a rock solid mount that not only looks great, but does the job it was designed to do.

Received this off road mount and mounted up my T865x to my Honda CRF450RL, and was pleasantly surprised not only the build quality but by its performance. Headed off road on a three day adv quest, over various terrain. Some areas were pretty rough and the mount performed admirably. It does micro move a little because it has rubber shock mounts. I believe this will preserve the tablets life. The locking mech is nicely tucked under and to the side for easy access without having to angle the tablet to unlock it. Also having the power cord screw into it, locking it in place. This is why this mount is the best for the T865x. BRAAP!
