Great upgrade
Great quality at a good price
This is a really solid, well-made mount with great Sturdiness. I like the dual lock set up And that you can use one or both depending on how it mounts for you. I drilled a hole in the center of the mount plate to have access to the pivot screw. This way, I could remove the tablet and make adjustments to the amount. Without having to remove it from extended mount arm I used. I actually leave it snug enough that it doesn’t move, but I can pivot it back to make getting to the lock easier from the side and back. Probably not approved but works for me!!!
I received my new dual lock holder very quickly and was very easy to swap out from the single lot system on my s1000xr.
I had the original rear locking mount that wasn’t convenient the way the T865 tablet was mounted so I decided to upgrade to the new side locking mount. Much better access with this new design.
