DMD wanted a bracket that would have minimal visible screws, an adjustable AMPS plate where no screws would be visible. We wanted it light, with just 7.5cm from the 12mm bar to the AMPS plate surface. They wanted it with a very special decor, carved on the aluminum surfaces.

  • Lightest 12mm bracket available – Only 100g! Other brackets start at around 200g.

This is the result, a piece that we will probably only be manufactured in small quantities, designed and made in Portugal, just like the DMD app!

Beautiful Bracket

It's a bit premature to evaluate the rigidity of the Extended Bracket due our winter weather and not riding my motorbike now, but, the machining and look of the bracket are just incredible. The fit is within thousands of an inch and clamps very tightly to my Long Handlebar Riser that I purchased along with the Extended Bracket. The mounting surface is a perfect fit to the GPS mounting bracket. For my bike, an XT 250 Yamaha, the height of the 865X is perfect for me. Customer Service from Adv-Tim is first rate and all ordered items shipped promptly. I'll do a follow-up in a few months when summer returns.
